Rebecca is VP Engineering at Völur – a tech company that is enabling a more optimized and sustainable meat industry by combining deep industry knowledge with data and AI.
Before joining Völur Rebecca spent 5 years at Cognite working in various roles including data scientist, senior ML engineer, tech lead and engineering manager. She has also worked as an analyst/data scientist at FINN.no.
Throughout her career, Rebecca has acquired a deep expertise in data, ML and software engineering from various industries. Rebecca is passionate about product development, building products, innovation and creating highly functioning teams. In 2023 Rebecca was named one of Norway’s 50 leading women in tech. Rebecca has a master’s degree in modeling and data analysis from the University of Oslo.
