Per-Kaare is a seasoned tech-lawyer with over 25 years of experience in advising tech companies. His areas of expertise include data governance, data protection, telecommunication digital services, digital market regulation, competition law, intellectual property law and transactions. He has worked with digital platform providers, mobile and broadband companies, software developers and providers, collaboration platform providers, and digital media distributors. He regularly advises companies that acquire technology. Over the last 7 years an increasing part of his practise has been related to artificial intelligence, data governance and e-discovery in investigations. His experience span from negotiating commercial transaction to regulatory issues and disputes, including large outsourcing projects and M&A involving tech businesses. He also advise on general commercial legal issues, contract law, corporate law and civil and regulatory disputes as well as merger procedures.
Per-Kaare holds a law degree and a bachelor’s degree in international business. He has worked as in-house counsel for Telenor and as a strategic advisor to a number of tech clients. This has given him a thorough understanding of commercial and technological issues as well as economic modelling. He has consistently received top rankings in Norwegian and international rankings (Legal 500 and Chambers).
Her regularly speaks on data governance, artificial intelligence and is monitoring the EU digital agenda closely, in particular the much-debated draft Artificial Intelligence Act.
